パリで演奏した動画見たけど音が乾燥してる。 日本での演奏の方が湿気があって曲の雰囲気が合ってると思う。

When I was very young, around ten or eleven years old, I watched this anime for the first time. I don't think any other anime will ever surpass the feelings I had back then. Hats off from Korea.

小５か小６の時にもののけ姫がリリースされ、今も当時も同じような強烈な衝動と共に強い感動がありました。当時ピアノを習っていて、先生に頼み込んでこの曲を教えて貰いました。途中で事情がありマスターできず辞めちゃいましたが、自分で弾けるようになりました。あれから早20年30年経ちますが、またピアノを習って習得したいです。感動は当時も今も同じです。
映画館で見た時、この曲でもうすでに涙止まらなくて大変だった思い出

Funny story: For the last hour or so I had something in my eye, but it's late and I didn't want to get up to wash it out. So I popped this on and it worked like a charm! Without fail, listening to and feeling this music moves me in such a way I can't even explain-Always brings tears to my eyes 🥲❤️

The violins give me a lump in my throat. This movie is unlike most I have ever seen, or more accurately, heard.. the soundtrack is of immortal quality.
And of course, the movie itself.. yes, I can agree the plot is not perfect. But honestly it doesn't matter to me. It invoked feelings like nothing else. I felt very invested, and for once I did not feel like the characters or the world were immortal. Every loss hit the soul.. somehow they made me feel connected to this location and these characters so quickly and easily unlike most. In only two hours, I grieved the world, feared the gods, and felt conflicted with the humans. How much more can you ask? It's like a movie was made for me.. drop-dead beautiful 1990s Japanese anime style of a lush, complete ancient world, of physical gods and mortal folk, a plot with no strict villains but simply many working for their own interest, focused on the struggle of nature against the self-interests of humans, women are just as represented as the men, and there is a non-romantic ending that still satisfies my soul. I recognize that many see a lot of the above as negatives or annoyances but it's really so soothing to see these things. "Go, with eyes unclouded by hatred, to see the evil lying within good and the good lying within evil" is practically my life's instructions. I can't follow it most of the time, but it's what I aspire towards, and I think that's an improvement.
